In this section we publish the most interesting architectural designs of glass and steel. Objects , which will be discussed in these pages, are very close our understanding of architecture. We dream to find partners - architects, investors, just connoisseurs of architecture from the steel and glass to create such structures in our own country. To achieve this, we have great desire, enthusiasm, many years of experience in designing and manufacturing custom glass constructions, the necessary technical equipment, qualified staff and strong links with foreign partners.   • Louvre pyramid is a huge pyramid made of steel and glass, surrounded by 3 smaller ones and is situated in the inner yard of Musée du Louvre in Paris, France. The biggest pyramid is the main entrance to the Museum. Its building was finished in 1989. Nowadays this building is the most popular sight-seeing of the city. For its building the project designed by Asian architect Yo Ming Pey was chosen. He used to live in New-York and he was responsible for the project of the Museum in Japan. The structure was made from glass segments and its height is 20.6m. The length's side of the pyramid is 35m. The pyramid is covered by 603 glasses of rhombus shape and 70 ones of triangular shape.
  • Grand Lisboa Hotel is situated in the center of Macau. It's 250 m hotel which looks like a glass sphere where there is a casino in the base. It's possible to see the hotel from every place of Makao. The design of 58 floored building was created by Hong Kong architects. The hotel was opened for the tourists in 2008. Every room is supplied by digital TV Bang & Olufsen and systems " sound around", Turkish bathrooms. The system of rain imitation is set in the showers and the diameter of a rain drop is 60 cm. Also some apartments are supplied by spa. The casino, a fitness center work 24 hours. There is hot heating roofless water-pool
  • 9900 m2 building designed by Pritsker prize-winner Renzo Piano is almost a hectare of life space covered by the ground as a roof. Under the steel carcass of the building there are Steinhart Aquarium,Morrison Planetarium,Kimball Natural Park, 8 scientific departments, and more than 20 millions of scientific examples. The building substitutes the previous museum where 2 walls are built in a new building because of historical and aesthetic value. Colorful roof of a new academy consists of many windows which open and close with the help of ultramodern temperature monitors. They provide natural conditioning of the museum and heat insulation due to 150 mm layer of the soil.
  • 80% of steel was used for building of New York skyscraper The Hearst Tower. The triangle shapes of the building were made not just for beauty of the tower. Diagonal web allowed using less steel girders so in this way more sunlight comes to the building. Also the architects didn't forget about rains. The water collects in the reservoir which can contain till 14 thousand of water gallons. The water go to cooling systems for watering plants and unusual water sculptures in the main hall.
  • In 2003 Austrian Grats received the title of " a cultural capital of Europe". To this significant event in city's life a new museum of modern art was decided to build. Everybody was looking forward to the finishing of unusual building. The building was built by the project of London architects Peter Cook and Colin Fournier. They could create amazing design joining their innovative language of modern design and the shapes with historical building of the river Moor
  • The building with the facade which looks like a banknote opened in 2008 in Kaunas, Lithuania. Two Lithuanian powerful banks rent this building. For these banks the facade became the advertisement. The facade is made of 4500 glasses of different shapes and sizes made in Holland. As the ornament of the building we see 1000 Lithuanian banknote of 1926
  • The library is build in the super-modern style. This original building looks like rhomb-cube-octahedron, the height of 72,6 m. The building's weight is 115 ton without the weigh of the books. It has 20 floors. It's one of the highest building in the world. Its illumination is its special thrill. It switches on every day with sunset and works till midnight. The color and its ornament change every second.
  • Most of times buildings of unusual forms attract our attention. Architects prefer the shapes of sphere but there are a lot of other variants. For example: Torre Agbar in Barcelona designed by the French architect looks like geyser stream blowing up in the air
  • In the building besides technical departments and laboratories there are the museum of solar energy, the library of solar energy and the cafe. The main material which was used in building is STEEL
  • It's impossible to pass this splendid building named "Dancing House". It's strange and interesting building. It is in Prague. "Dancing House" is the masterpiece of the brilliant architect Frank Gerry from California
